Smoked Pork Loin Chops with Apricot Bourbon BBQ sauce recipe
This weekend I fire up the Weber Kettle and smoke up some Apricot Bourbon glazed loin chops.
Kansas City Rub
• 1/2 Cup -- White Sugar
• 1/2 Cup -- Sea Salt or course Salt
• 1/4 Cup -- Paprika
• 2 Tbsp Chili Powder
• 2 Tbsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
• 2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
• 1/2 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
Apricot Bourbon BBQ Sauce
• 2 Tbs. unsalted butter
• 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
• 2 medium cloves garlic, finely chopped
• 1 cup apricot preserves
• 1 cup chili sauce
• 1/2 cup bourbon
• 1/3 cup cider vinegar
• 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
• 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
• 2 Tbs. dijon mustard
