Hawaiian Burger Buns Recipe (King's Hawaiian style bread)

On this video I try my hand at homemade Hawaiian sweet bread hamburger buns. These buns are soft and sweet and easy to prepare. These buns taste pretty darn close to King's Hawaiian buns. You're gonna love my buns!



Ingredients

⅓ cup milk, warmed (warm for 30 seconds and let cool for 2 minutes before using)

1 tablespoons of active dry yeast

½ cup brown sugar, packed

¼ cup canola oil

¼ cup (1/2 stick) salted butter, melted and slightly cooled

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

⅔ cup crushed pineapple, NOT drained

4 cups + 1 cup all purpose flour

½ teaspoon salt



For the tops:

1 egg

¼ cup water
